At the first Rockford Monkey Madness Festival there was a Jedi sock monkey in attendance that could read people minds. I don't know if that Jedi could read sock monkey minds.

Do you have the power to read people minds? What about sock monkey minds?

Hi! I'm Miss Millie from Sock Monkey Ranch in Arizona. This is my first post on this board, so I'm just a bit nervous, but real excited about meeting new friends.

I'd like to extend an invitation to all monkeys to drop by the ranch sometime. You can meet Dusty Layne (Ranch Foreman), Lucky (an unlucky and flirtatious rascal), Betsy, our ranch cook (soon to publish her first cookbook), Skippy (an ornery little monkey with high class dreams), Mike (our resident mechanic - grease monkey) and his wife, Mollie (housekeeper up at the ranch house).

www.sockmonkeyranch.com

Just wanted to introduce myself and say that I am so happy to have discovered this meeting place for sock monkeys...it's great!

Welcome, Miss Millie, it is very nice to meet you. I live in Bull City (Durham, NC) with quite a wild bunch of monkeys myself, but no cowboys or bull riders, thank the Great Grandma!

We have been looking at your website and really enjoy it, especially the girl monkeys here like reading your diary!!!

Ms Kitchen Longtail - it's so good to meet a monkey from the other side of the nation!

It's too bad you don't have cowboys on your side, because they can be right cute, even Dusty, but don't tell him I said so.

Bull-riders, on the other hand...be glad you don't have any of those. They'll flirt a girl's head right into a tizzy if yer not careful.

Uh...about my diary. You've been reading it? I thought I had it locked up tight! That darned Dusty has been lettin' folks peek again, ain't he!

Well, I guess there's no harm done since it's just the girls reading it. They understand all that close-to-the-heart stuff. Feel free to read away.

Hope to talk with you again soon!

Hi Miss Millie! I like your website! It is so much fun. I peeked in your diary too. Just a little though. Do you like frogs? Have you ever seen a praying mantis? What is your favorite letter? Nice to meet you!

Sally - so good to make your acquaintence! Thanks for dropping by the ranch. I hope you made some new friends among the ranch staff. Hopefully, Lucky didn't flirt with you too much. He just can't resist a pretty face.

It's ok about peeking into my diary. I don't mind girls reading it so much.

Frogs - I love them! A long time ago someone told me I reminded them of a frog. At first I thought they were being mean, but when I asked why, they said because I "hop from lily pad to lily pad making people happy".

I can live with that!

Have I ever seen a praying mantis? Yep! In fact, I'm real into praying, so them's one of my favorite bugs.

And my favorite letter...well, I'm sure you meant one of the alphabet, but to be honest, my favorite letter is the unexpected one from a friend that shows up in yer mailbox. They always make me smile.

Sally - I'm glad I met you and hope we become great friends!

Hi Mimsey (I love your name, by the way). Yes, it's wonderful to live on the ranch. I love the Arizona desert. There's nothin' like sittin' on the back porch of an evenin', sippin' on some ice cold sun tea and listenin' to the coyote's howlin' in the distance.

Of course, runnin' a ranch with a bunch of monkeys ain't no picnic, but I learned from my daddy how to run herd on cattle and I reckon I can apply most of those lessons to a bunch of wild monkeys just as well.

Thanks for droppin' by the ranch. Keep checkin' back...I update the SMR Blog fairly regular. Ya never know what might be goin' on at the ranch!

Hi everbody! My sky is snow color right now, SOOO EXCITING!
Maybe if we all quiet for now and no jumping on the bed we can go sledding later. But it is no fun not jumping on the bed. Hope you all are happy and snug (or Jumping) right now! XOXOXOXO JeniAnn (with Pippo, Cletus, Ruby, CarolDee and Dickie)

Hello,
I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Thay. I live in Sock Monkey Land, a magical fairytalelike Kingdom. Ann Louise visits and takes very good care of us.
I am peace advisor to the King. I help him in very important matters such as walking mindfully and how to be in the present moment while eating an orange. I am very happy to serve as an ambassador introducing you to our lovely kingdom.
King Nemo is the king of Sock Monkey Land. He enjoys good jokes and dreaming. A special hello to Deva and the clowns say hello to Mulchee, one of their favorite laugh-makers.
So many of us are busy and rush around. Try to take the time to stop, take a deep breath and become more present in the moment. If you take time to stop and breathe you will realize that this present moment is a moment you are alive, a wonderful moment.
