We decided to take the month of October off this year, but I'm back now. Sorry I lost this post -- I found it cleaning up all the annoying clown messes. Glad those things are gone.
Anyway, I am sorry you are having trouble with your avatar still. I can host it on our site if you continue to have problems. . .
Just mail me a jpeg or a gif to wysiwyg@whizzkid1.com and that should do it . . .
I couldn't get your current picture to display by copying its location and am not all that familiar with yahoo photo hosting so I'm not sure how it all works. You SHOULD just be able to post to a URL in the avatar box, but make sure it's just a picture that's showing and not a page with a picture on it.

A software program called Adobe ImageReady is responsible for the procedure that improved my sight. I am not a run of the mill jpg format but an animated gif. That means the file has multiple layers or frames and most of them are transparent. If your graphic program lets you save as a gif there is probably some way to animate.

Dear WYSI WYG,
Annie is all in a tizzy because she doesn't know how to register more than just her own human selfs name on the message board, AND for some reason over the last few days she is having to type her name and password in before she can post anything at at all, when she gets grumpy like this, she forgets to feed me and I am getting very, very hungry. Can you help her please? Oh and one more thing, she has some snazzy new pictures she would like to share with everyone on the board. can you tell her how to do that?

WI has a shortcut for posting pictures to share
If you right click on another of your pictures or avatar you get an option to see 'properties' of that picture. You can then copy and paste that address. Just change the picture name and add img in brackets before and with a backslash after.

vinny, you're not authorized to give out technical support.
If you right click on another pictures or avatar you've psoted you have an option to see 'properties' of that picture. Then copy and paste that address. In your new message change the picture name. Then do the bracket stuff.

I have seen WI's work in this field, and anyone who wishes to get their avatar animated should write them.
This thread is for everyone to share their experience with the message board, so if anyone has accurate (vinny, read that last word carefully) technical advice, please share it here.

Technically, albinos have red eyes. Poor fella is likely just anemic, maybe even a vegetarian. They never get enough iron.
