Those sure are very nice monkeys. That girl does a beautiful job. What a nice set up she has. She is smart taking a rest during Christmas so she is not all stressed out.

Hi, I am desperately seeking the Tony Millionaire Uncle Gabby Sock Monkey plush. It is my favorite comic! Any help would kindly be appreciated. It was made by Dark Horse a few years ago. Thank you!

Tony Millionaire is one of our favorite authors. Sad to say, we tried for munce to get that Uncle Gabby doll, but it does not seem to be available, at all, any way. We wonder if they ever really existed. Maybe on EBay some day.

I thought you found a Gabby-style monkey for Bull City?

We've never seen an official licensed one, just the homemade ones that look like Uncle Gabby.

We have a bendy Gabby here, but no soft, cuddly Gabby. Gabby dolls showed up on Dark Horse sale pages on the Innernet, but the items were always on back order.

I have a soft one that I purchased off ebay. He's like new and still has his tags. I would consider sending him to a good home...

Please please please consider selling him to me. I would be so thrilled and I will take excellent care of him! Is there anything you are currently seeking that I could help you find? I have 100% positive feedback on ebay.

Thank you so very much for your time,

Ann Louise

What does the "official" stuffed Uncle Gabby look like? I've got a homemade version, but never saw a new with tags one.

I wish I knew!!??!!?? Sharon ordered on the internet and the Big Guy (Wayland) ordered Uncle Gabby sock monkeys through our local comic book shop, but neither of the orders were ever filled. Even the great and powerful Amazon could not get it!

As best as Sharon could remember, the Uncle Gabby sock monkey pictured on-line looked pretty much like his pictures in the comix and in the books. She wonders if a deal might have been worked out with a third-world company to mass produce U.G., but the Great Grandma intervened. Or Uncle Gabby just plain didn't cooperate. You probably know he is--how shall I say it? subversive.

special hello to Cinnamon! I am really enjoying the crisp fall weather here in North Cakalaka. The leaves are beautiful, but not as beautiful as you!

Hi Googlie-

Nice to see you posting again. It's been kind of quiet around here.

Yesterday was really nice and sunny. I would have liked to go to the beach, but they have all these warnings about staying 50 feet from the water right now because a boat hit the bridge and spilled oil all over the place. Scout and Scout Junior gathered up extra buckets of stuffing and went out with their troop to try and mop up the oil and save the birds. They have to be super careful to avoid getting any oil stains on their knit, but it's important work.

Thank you so much! Abigail is kinda bummed. She thought she would be snatched up immediately. She's had her bags packed for a couple of weeks, now. I told her to be patient, that just the right person will be along soon now to take her to her new home.

Thanks for stopping by the ranch!

Is Abigail still available? I think she's just adorable and would love to have her live at my house, however, we're a pretty rowdy bunch. Does she like crowds?

Uh-oh! I'm in trouble now. I brought Abigail's picture up on the computer and now the boy monkeys are begging for Abigail to come live with us. The girl monkeys are quite upset and demanding new outfits so they can compete. However, my troublesome boys have promised to quit hiding the cats' toys if I bring Abigail to SW Michigan.

Chelle - sorry it took a few days to respond. Injured my wrist, so I couldn't do much typing...or monkey-making for that matter!

Abigail is still available, although she has been in quite a bad mood lately. She was so sure she would have a new home by now. She just might fit in nicely with your rowdy bunch. She's been so impossible to live with the past few days that the ranch staff is about to lock her in the bunk house!

Let me know if you're still considering bringing Abigail to live with you. You can email me at grandma@sockmonkeyranch.com

I'm sorry to hear that you've been sidelined with a wrist injury. I know how painful that can be. I've got carpal tunnel and it can be really painful. I will send you an email regarding Abigail. Thanks!
