Also, pleese know that I have very great hopings that Miss Olivia's friends will be able to come home soon, too! I am wishing it with all of my selfing!

No...no....no.... Wally says he has to stay N-Cog-Neet-Toe cause all the goopies. They distract from gettin' stuff done here at PGRS and bother Mr. Earl the Security Chief by tryin' to get in and you can't enjoy your Tunee Sammies at Canter's Deli(oh man...I like Mr. Canter's Deli!) and they sometimes try to take your coat and even come to the gate at our home in the Hills of HollyRock. Not like the Bunnies at Mr. Hef's place...we like them.Man...those goopies can cause BIG trouble,Stompy's always havin' the boys toss 'em outta shows. So Wally says he's just gonna show his arm.

Posted 08-04-05 09:01 PM (cough) Just popping in to say glad to hear Supermonk was found. I got over the summer stuffing cold and then it came back..also we are still quarantined in the back and the People are painting and paint is bad for us...so we are on the downlow right now.
I kinda doubt that Gerta and Squiggly will come back.
The Girl wrote to the band who's friends she thinks um...adopted them without asking..but they didn't even write back...even though she says she tried to be nice about it.

Most imporantly, What about a the drying process? I hope you didn't go modern with electricity.
Greetings Vinny!
I just want to thank everyone so so so much for wishing SUPERMONK home!
We took pictures of his bath, covering the R rated sections of course We will send them to Wendel so he can post them for us.
And no worries Vinny, we dried him in the sun!

Posted 08-14-05 01:05 PM Dear Daisy Marie
It is true that my SUPERMONK life has has many downturnings, I was always bugging Annie to show me what the world looked like from the ground leveling, so she put me in the Explorer and took me for a ride.
I was going along, looking out the window, taking in the sites, when we came to a big, dark, smelly place where she said she had to conduct some business.
The next thing I knew, I was being grabbed by someone that had no idea how to treat a sock monkey, I tried to fly away but, you know, after Mardi Gras, I was not up to my usual SUPERNESS.
I was thrust into a smelly, dirty office place with no one to talk to, every now and then a phone would ring, and one time I heard a man say "sock monkey, what the [edited by Annie] is a sock monkey?" I knew in my heart that she was missing me, and looking for me. A dog came in to the office place one day and bit me, then dragged me out and dropped me in some sticky black stuff. He left me there. A lady who turned out to be very nice, found me and knew that I had been monkeynapped, so she put me in a big envelope and mailed me home!
I had great missings of you too, Daisy Marie! There were times when I was especially sad and alone that I thought hard about my friends here at the Red Heel, and it helped me alot to know that I had not been forgotten.
Did you see what MixMonk did? He offered a huge reward for my return, wasn't that the nicest thing? THANK YOU MIXMONK!!!
Tomorrow I will tell you about my bath. Have you ever had a bath? It wasn't so bad. The hardest part was seeing my Annie cry.
Bye for now to all my great friends! And especially my Daisy Marie

Posted 08-14-05 09:38 PM Dear MixMonk,
Alas, with one of my eyes plucked out by the dog, and the other hopelessly covered with that sticky black stuff, I did not see the nice lady who sent me home. I do know that she had a nice voice, and when she picked me up off the floor, she had a gentle grip.
It was very nice of you to offer a reward for my return, SUPERMONK is happy happy happy to be home!

Supermonk we are SO glad you are back! And so many folks were concerned (Mix Monk...you are just a prize wrapped in black leather!) and Annie is so brave. I love reading about your recovery...will there be physical therapy? Will you have to have eye surgery? Will they fly you in a helicopter to Sunnyflower?

Dear Zola,
Thank you! I, SUPERMONK, am so happy to be back with my family and friends! I just knew that Annie would not give up hope, and Mixys reward offer was JUST the thing to get me home.
Annie is still not sure just what to do to get me back to my former SUPERNESS. She and Tanis did give me a bath, well, actually 3 baths to get the sticky oil out of my skin and stuffings. I feel rather flat still (heavy sigh) and I am rather floppy and in need of some fluffing up. I will need to have some stitches to repair the place where my eye was bitten off by the dog, and I am noticing some hearing loss out of one ear.
It seems prudent to consider an early retirement from the superhero biz. It's hard to get any respect when one has such obvious disabilities, and I am somewhat shy of going out now. Do you think the Red Heel will still love me if I am no longer a superhero?
A trip to the Sunnyflower farm sounds delightful, I'll give that some serious consideration

Posted 08-15-05 08:25 PM Oh, Supermonk! You are the superhero of our very own hearts!!!
Pleese make rememberings, my friend, that our heroisms come from our insides, where our real strength-makings live! And it makes no mattering how we are on our outsides if we do our very best to live from our insides!
You do not have to be any way you do not want to be! Because you are always already the perfection of yourself!
Anyway, that is how I have beleefings!

Posted 09-02-05 06:03 PM Welcome back SUPERMONK! Baths are not so bad. When the girl rescued me at an estate sale I needed a bath and my dress was torn The last people just left me that way in a closet for years. But I'm a lot cleaner now, my dress was fixed and she gave me some new yarn bows. I feel good.
But I'm really concerned about the safety of car monkeys. We should be able to feel safe from sock nappers when we travel. Has anyone tried one of those trunk monkeys? I think that if SUPERMONK's person had a trunk monkey on board, especially the theft retrieval one, the thief would have been swiftly brought to justice. Monkey justice! Because sometimes getting your monkey back just isn't enough.

Posted 09-03-05 01:25 AM Thank you for the nice welcome Daisy Marie, because I’m new here. You are pretty too. I like your dress. Is there a thread to discuss fashion? I have been thinking of getting some pompoms.
I have a garden at home, but right now I’m helping the girl housesit someone way, way up, on top of a hill, so I have very nice view. I look out the window and feel like a bird so high up. While we’re here, I’m mostly a bed monkey. Yay! But sometimes I go to the tv room where lots of fuzzy bear critters live. They are nice and share their chocolate with me. We stay up late and watch the X-Files, so Coco is a very happy.
This is the view from my window on the hill. Next week when I go home I will post a picture of the garden in the garden thread and my nice sock monkey friends at home.

Posted 09-03-05 07:20 AM Coco, I will make Wysi Wyg go see if he can find one of the fashion threads! We talk about monkey fashions all the time! I hear that ribbons are "out" this season but I refuse to take the one on my ear off! I think that ribbons never go out of style no matter what the trend mongers say!
Hhhhhhmph to the trend mongers!
I am glad you are here!

Posted 03-20-08 09:46 AM Good Day! I shall read the note that SUPERMONK! left. Everyone gather around as I have much work today in the laboratory and I must make haste. Here is what it says:
"DEAR EVERYONE, I, SUPERMONK! MUST FLY AWAY TO NEBRASKA. I HAVE HEARD THAT THERE IS A NEED FOR ME IN THE CHEERING UP DEPARTMENT THERE. I HAVE ENJOYED MY TIME HERE GREATLY AND I AM GLAD TO HAVE SPENT THE TIME WITH ALL OF YOU. I WILL LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN PERSON AGAIN AT THE NEXT MONKEY MADNESS FESTIVAL BUT I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU IN SPIRIT. BE MOST WELL AND HELP EACH OTHER ALWAYS. TRY TO CARRY ON MY WORK WHEREVER YOU GO." WHHHOOOOSHHH
I must say, my voice is a little weary after reading SUPERMONKS! words like that. Thank you.
