Buford Welcome to the Red Heel!
Posted 06-07-07 02:04 PM I'm quite proud of our young cousin. Handsome young man, he is! Thank the Great Grandma that adoption fees weren't running so high last year or I might never have found my comfortable spot on the sofa at S'Monkeytown. Posted 06-08-07 09:43 AM I think he is quite nice looking. I do believe it is a little scandalous though how he is showing off his red heel in that one picture.

Posted 07-05-07 01:54 PM Happy In-the-Depends Day (a day late!)!
We sang Gerry's song really loud about 6 times yesterday.
It was so loud around here last night with all the firecrackers and such we wanted to try to be louder.
It was fun!

Bluedella Welcome to the Red Heel!
Posted 08-06-07 04:48 PM Here is another report from the commodities market, another auction for 6 pairs of blue red heel socks has ended today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...:MEWA:IT&ih=007
I am pleased to report that the auction was won by Super Happy Fun Land, despite the best efforts of the mysterious "clairesfriend" to outbid us. Given the mystery bidder's perchant for bidding on velvet dog art, pink poodles, Jeff Foxworthy and other redneck merchandise, as well as paying exorbitant prices for sock monkeys of questionable (I will be kind and not go so far as to say unfortunate) design, I suspect that the bidder's handlers are Bulgarian, or perhaps from Istanbul, and no doubt are involved in the illicit monkey trade. At any rate, the winning bid worked out to around $15 a pair, much less than the $20 plus per pair that they have been going for in recent auctions. This might be because the seller neglected to put the word "blue" in the auction listing. There are a couple of pending auctions for the precious blue booties, I will report back to you in 5 days or so on the outcome. Don't worry, there won't be any blue red neck poodle monkeys smuggled into Istanbul while we are on watch!

The Gray Gatsby Welcome to the Red Heel!
Posted 08-07-07 12:15 PM I say! Normally I find discussing commodities in a social arena such as this one a beastly practice, I find this information about the expansive "blue" market quite top! Thanks, old sport socks!

Bluedella Welcome to the Red Heel!
Posted 08-10-07 03:58 PM Hello Everyone!
Just thought I'd announce the arrival of our new blue socks today! Of course they are too fine and expensive for the People to want to do anything with them, so I guess they are going to sit on a shelf somewhere and continue collecting value.
