Hi everyone! A new baby blue monk was born at Sock Monkey Ranch today. Her name is Bonnie Blue. I'm not sure how long she will be at the ranch, but I did want her to meet others of her crystal blue persuasion.

Hi I'm Bonnie Blue and I was just born today. My, the world is a bright and beautiful place! Any words of wisdom for a newborn monkey to start her life with? I'm eager to learn from my "elders".

Don't listen to any monkey who wears a clown hat for a dress....and never forget that you are better than everyone else.

Howdy Miss Bonnie Blue-

My advice is to not get all snooty about being a blue sock, because our colour is only skin deep. It's the character inside that makes a monkey what they are.

And with a name like yours, it's probably good to avoid horse jumping.

So nice to meet you all! Such confusing words of wisdom...

Harpo Z - It's all over now Baby Blue? But I just got born, how could it be over so soon?

BlueElla and BlueDella seem to have, uh...issues with one another.

Mr. Fabuloose seems a little delusional.

But Mr. Bufford, now he seems right nice. He had great advice. He kinda threw me with the "horse jumping" comment, but Miss Millie helped me Google Bonnie Blue and we realized what he was referring to.

Miss Millie gave me her own piece of advise. I asked her if being blue made me better than others and she said, "Bonnie, darling...Blue is as Blue does."

I think I'll make that my life slogan. Oh...so much to learn!

Your socks are more expensive. When things are more expensive, that naturally means they are better.

I think we are all valuable, no matter what color we are. We just got a new upsideowner living here, and he is just as 'portant and the rest of us. Just be proud of who you are. I think Grandma would want us all to feel that way.
BTW.. our upsidedowner came from AZ and he has a friend with him, that has a string tied around his neck really tight, but he does not seem to be hurting, altho he does breath funny when he sleeps at night. maybe he has ap-nee-a.

Ma Rainey is sure modest, not mentioning that she is the 114th aunt of Mr. Bob Dylan, who wrote the "Baby Blue" words that Harpo Z quoted.

I am the Bull City authority and expert on Mr. Dylan's work. He is a great human being and he writes about blue and being blue a lot. Here are a few of his blue writings:

I'm a sweet bourbon daddy and tonight I am blue.

I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue.

A guy who's wearing a powder-blue wig.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a gypsy queen,
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle all dressed in green,
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle 'til the moon is blue,
Wiggle 'til the moon sees you.

I see the shadow of a man, baby, makin' you blue

Oh, baby, baby, baby blue You'll change your last name, too.

I'd be sad and blue, if not for you.

Caught between the mob and the men in blue.

I'm down on my luck and I'm black and blue.

Thunder rolling over Clarksdale, everything is looking blue

I was feelin' kinda lonesome and blue, I needed somebody to talk to.

We'll meet again someday on the avenue tangled up in blue.

When I'm with you I forget I was ever blue.

Ten thousand men dressed in oxford blue,
