Sometimes exciting stuff happens around Smonkeytown that doesn't fit into other threads, so we voted on it, and decided to give ourselves our own thread for story telling about life in Smonkeytown, but you're all welcome to post here and join us.

A few weeks ago, while Coco was off housesitting, a box arrived....

-----------------------------
Ooooohhhhh.... We're going to have so much fun.

I'm just reading this thrilling murder mystery Reggie sent me awhile back, The Partridge Family: Thirteen at Killer Gorge

Excitin' stuff. I don't know why David Cassidy stopped turning out these books.

Wow... look at all that fabric... cowboys and monkeys and sushi... Now you have to get busy and get sewing again. You've been slacking off since Rockford. Those poor Nebraska monkeys are probably still sleeping in their skivies cause you still haven't sent them PJs.

Ralphy wants to say that he is glad you liked everything, but he is off hiding in the closet blushing with his paws on his cheeks to try and hide it.

He hopes your chockys didn't get all melty! And our whole gang says thanks for takin' photos of all the fun of opening the box. We all had fun seeing it.

We think our house and gang needs a cool name, too, but now we have to go ponder what that should be... any suggestions?

-----------------------------
Is that so?

Nah... nice and snappy!

Scout and Scout Junior brought the box in right away, it was just awhile before Coco came home from housesitting and then awhile more before we got the photos posted.

Hi Everybodys! I'm done being shy! I am glad you got the treats. My gang helped me pack the box and stuff. We had lots of fun. The girls helped me pick out the candles and the crystal globey. I was gonna send gummy worms, but they said no way, that wouldn't do. So I had some help. I can't take all the credit.

Thank you for taking all the photos. That sure is neat.

I love you Coco! And the rest of you, too!

Wuv, Ralphy

We are getting our box of vintage rick rack ready for Cocos closet, we think we have located some vintage trim with some owls and some 70s daisey trim too. So hang on Coco, this is all stuff David Cassidy would be wearing on his bell bottoms.
We have a special fondness for Knitty here in Nebraska. Kathy found a pirate transfer, and we made Knitty a pirate tshirt for the days he just wants to be Knitty, yet keep his passion for the 7 seas. I got to try this on and model it. Kathy took a cheesecake picture of me for Sally, so she can see my tribal tattoo, I was kind of embarressed to have my picture taken without my shirt. But I figured if Bert Renolds can do it, so can I! (hi Sally)
