Posted 03-08-08 05:43 AM I’m sorry, I’ve been out of town. And I really do think that it would be best to just not talk about what I was doing. What a circus. And some people just get so upset over little things. Just because some cake got squashed, and there was that pie that went missing. I wasn’t the only one there, you know. And nobody knows how the balloons got away. Or all the milk on the floor, either, for that matter. But, that’s neither here nor there, and there’s really no need to speak of that anymore.
Ralphy Roo, I’m afraid that I don’t have much influence over Coco. I tried to write a letter, but I couldn’t find a stamp. I sent the last one I had to Knitty, but it came back because the only address I had was my own. But the stamp worked great!! But c’mon Ralphy, surely you wouldn’t hold that against me, would you? After all, would you rather have a phony monkey in the white house? or me?
And, oh yes, there’s going to be a party. The likes of which hasn’t been seen in these parts for a long time, at least a month or more. I’m sure it’ll go on for days and days, nights too. Especially if we can keep people from falling over into the cake and ice cream. Lumpy and his friends are working on it right now, and as soon as they’ve given it some thought, they’ll be starting to do some actual planning. I’m told that it takes a lot of thinking to be able to start planning something. I’m pretty sure there’ll be more about this later.

Posted 03-08-08 06:51 PM Hey Mr. President-To-Be, I got a question for ya before I vote for ya.
What's your stance on the use of pompoms in modern art?

Just like a politician! You say that the stamp worked fine, but can anyone else back up these claim?

Posted 03-22-08 08:08 AM ok, I’m back.
Munce! Pompoms! Wow! I like them. Lumpy likes them a lot! It reminds him of when he was the mascot for his college team. He’d put on his gorilla suit, and dance around with the cheerleaders and their pom poms. He had soooo much fun, he says.
But, uh, did you mean pompoms AS art, or as a way to make art, or both. I believe a well done pompom can carry a powerful message of love, joy, and the futility of trying to catch a fly. I got a hat, too, someplace with a pompom on top. Sooo classy.
Ohhh, knitty, knitty, why do you doubt me so. Have I ever misled you? The mailman knows, of course, but she won’t talk. Something about privacy or something. And Lumpy knows. You’d believe him wouldn’t you? He used to dance with cheerleaders, you know.
In other news, my background check came back clean. They said they found nothing in my past that I needed to be concerned about. I’m pretty sure I’ll be releasing the results someday. And the passiflora harvest is finished, so there’s no more shade in the arbor for now, so we can work on our tans there, instead of going aLL the way into the backyard. Grandpa’s brother and his kids came down to visit from the frozen north, So pale and soft. Nothing like the tanned and buff Lumpy and me.
And we’ve finished buying the index cards for the notes of the big speech I’m planning to give one day. It’s so exciting. Right now Lumpy’s planning to think about deciding what pencil to use to plan the speech.
And, you know, I’ve noticed a bunch of chocolate around the house. We’ll probably eat it till we pass out. What fun.
Whoops, everybody’s waking up. Gotta go.
