Happy George

Happy George is probably the most beloved monkey at the Red Heel Monkey Shelter.  Happy George is so cute that other sock monkeys stare in awe at his overwhelming cuteness.  He is so cute it would be hard to take him except for the fact that he’s a really cool guy and is also extremely fragile and prone to back holes and worse.  Happy is host of “Good Night with Happy George”, the amazingly popular sock monkey talk show.  Happy comes from the “George Family”, a very influential dynasty of sock monkeys whose distinctive features are easily recognizable and generally indicate signs of sock monkey greatness.  Happy George is a Bed Monkey, like Emily, and has been at the Shelter almost as long as anyone.  In addition to Bank & Hanger, Happy George fronts a primate rock and roll band called the Georgies.
